Yao Xiao presented our lab’s research at the 2026 Neuroergonomics Conference in Boston, MA, in July 2026. The presentation focused on how generative AI may reshape cognitive processes during architectural conceptual design, using simultaneous EEG and fNIRS to examine neural activity during realistic, long-duration design tasks.
The conference was a great opportunity to share our work, connect with researchers in neuroergonomics and human–AI interaction, and exchange ideas on multimodal neuroimaging and real-world cognition.
